Andrew Light is a co-owner of Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's International Realty and focuses on creating the best platform for our brokers so that they can best take care of our clients. Andrew brings to the team almost 20 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate development. After growing up in Snowmass Village, Andrew started his real estate career in San Francisco where he sourced retail, residential and distressed loan acquisitions for Village Properties, a private real estate investment firm with a track record of over $1.5 billion in real estate investments. Upon returning to the Roaring Fork Valley, Andrew was with Chaffin Light Management focusing on resort assets in the western US and Mexico. He is an active real estate investor and developer operating through a series of partnerships. His experience also includes positions with Menlo Equities, a Palo Alto, CA based commercial real estate investment firm, Goldman Sachs, and INCAE, an executive education program founded by Harvard Business School in Costa Rica. Andrew received a BA in Economics magna cum laude from Duke University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the Recreation Development Council of the Urban Land Institute, Past President of Snowmass Village Rotary, and the Chapter Chair of the Aspen Young Presidents' Organization. When he is not working Andrew enjoys fishing, hiking, golf, and his wife and three children.
