Jennifer Houston grew up on the east coast and worked at The Economist Magazine before moving to Aspen. She has lived in Aspen since the 90's and has a comprehensive knowledge of residential real estate in Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt and Carbondale. She and her husband, Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's International Realty broker associate James Benvenuto, work as a broker team. They produce an Aspen/Snowmass market report which can be found around town and in front of their office on the Hyman Mall in Aspen. Jennifer is recognized for her ability to go above and beyond for her clients, from negotiating the best price to managing the contract and staging homes. She is a great communicator and always makes sure her clients are comfortable with every aspect of the real estate transaction. She is known by her clients for her strong work ethic, vast knowledge of the market and for taking her client's skiing on Ajax mountain and testing their sense of adventure on her favorite run, Ridge of Bell. Jennifer's commitment to the valley is evident - she and her husband raise their children here and are both involved with many organizations within the community. She and James donate 10% of their sales commission to the Disabled American vets through Challenge Aspen. Most weekends Jennifer can be spotted skiing on Ajax mountain with her clients and family. Her hobbies include seeing live music at The Belly Up, skiing, golf, yoga and staging homes. During the off-season, she enjoys traveling to the far east.
