Meg Haynes is President of M. Haynes Inc., a management consulting company specializing in the insurance brokerage industry for 30 years and Executive Director of the Starwood Metropolitan District and Homeowners Association. Meg began her consulting career as a partner of the Teren Company in 1978, and she established M Haynes Inc. in 1979 and Planned, organized and provided training for annual corporate international management meetings through 1986. From 1986-2005, Meg planned and implemented the Frank B. Hall, Rollins Hudig Hall and Aon Group Fortune 100 Companies' international management and leadership meetings. With the Chairmen of these companies, she developed company-wide strategic business planning processes and assisted the offices' executive committees throughout the United States and in South America implement their plans. For 20 years, Meg consulted with the Aon Risk Services Office of the Chairman to assist in leadership and management development, meeting planning and implementation of operational objectives. Meg was a Pecos River Leadership Development facilitator, and she was also affiliated with Stephen Covey Leadership Center. Meg is active in her home community of Aspen, Colorado, where she was the publicly elected President of the Aspen Valley Hospital Board of Trustees for 9 years, President of the Starwood Homeowners Association for 12 years and president of the Starwood Water and Metropolitan District Boards. Meg assisted in initiating Leadership Aspen and provided training for the participants. prior to moving to Aspen in 1988, Meg was a Board member of the Spartanburg, S.C., Advent Episcopal Churchwomen for 4 years and chaired the Annual Bazaar and various committees; founded the Ballet Guild of Spartanburg, and was president for 4 years; President of Friends of the Arts; Spartanburg Day School Mothers' Club President and founder of the Spantanburg Day School Parents' Club; Spartanburg Day School Board of Trustees Executive Committee; Chamber of Commerce Leadership Spartanburg Board of Regents, Selection and Program Committees, and conducted training seminars for Leadership Spartanburg and Gainesville, Florida Leadership classes; Spartanburg Junior League President; Junior League Area Council Chairman and National Association of Junior League Area Council Chairman and national Association of Junior Leagues Officer. Meg is the author of LUNCHBOX MAGIC cookbook that was published by Thermos Company and used in Thermos national marketing, 20,000 copies printed and used in a Florida as a text book. Meg and her daughter owned Unicorn Books in Aspen. Meg currently lives in Carbondale, Colorado, with her husband, Morgan, and their 2 Bouviers (dogs). She is a licensed Real Estate Broker with Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's International Realty. Meg and Morgan, who are active members of Basalt St. Peter's Episcopal Church, have 3 children: Heather, Baxter (Billy) and Andy, and 3 grand children, Wilson, Amelia and Langdon; also a son-in-law, Jim Dresser, and a daughter-in-law, Laura Leigh Haynes.
