A series of November snow storms brought an early opening of Aspen and Snowmass mountains, with snowpack levels reaching their highest levels for this time of year in the past 10 years.
The November 2024 real estate statistics in Aspen, Snowmass Village, and Basalt have shown distinct trends individually. Aspen reveals strong growth, with a 45.7% rise in median sales price to $3,425,000, despite a 10.7% drop in inventory. Snowmass Village is thriving, with a 111.1% surge in median sales price to $3,800,000 and closed sales up 414.3%, though inventory fell 18.6%. Down valley, Basalt faces mixed results, with a 40.6% decline in median sales price to $1,337,500, higher inventory, and fewer closed sales, reflecting varied dynamics across the region.
